Absolutely! This is one of the magical aspects of staying with us. You’ll experience authentic jungle life with butterflies, tropical birds, and fascinating critters right outside your door. It’s their home too, and sharing this space creates unforgettable memories. We maintain our grounds thoughtfully while respecting the natural ecosystem that makes Toledo so special.

Getting here is easier than you might think! We offer private transfers for ultimate convenience, or you can take the local bus – the station is nearby and it’s a great way to meet locals. Many guests enjoy the scenic journey through Belize’s countryside as part of their adventure.

Pack light but smart! Bring DEET-free mosquito repellent, sturdy hiking boots that cover your ankles (essential for exploring our incredible trails), and a towel for refreshing dips in rivers and waterfalls. We provide everything else you need for a comfortable stay, including fresh linens and basic toiletries.

Every season offers something special! December through April brings dry, sunny weather perfect for hiking and exploring Maya ruins. May through November is our “green season” – fewer crowds, lush landscapes, and incredible wildlife viewing as nature comes alive. Birdwatchers and nature photographers especially love this vibrant time.

Our cabanas embrace natural cooling – strategically placed under towering trees with ceiling fans creating refreshing breezes. This eco-friendly approach keeps you comfortable while letting you fully experience the jungle’s sounds and atmosphere. Most guests find it surprisingly pleasant and love falling asleep to nature’s symphony.

Yes! We offer reliable WiFi in most cabanas and throughout our common areas, making us perfect for workations. Imagine taking video calls with a rainforest backdrop – your colleagues will be envious!

Your accommodation includes comfortable bedding, private bathroom facilities, and access to all our common areas with hammocks and WiFi. Add our delicious Belizean breakfast ($7.50) to start each day right, and request dinner to complete your authentic culinary experience.

Families love us! Kids have endless natural playgrounds right outside their door, from spotting colorful birds to exploring safe jungle trails. Our Hummingbird Villa includes a full kitchen, and we have connecting accommodations for larger families. Board games and books are available as well for quiet evenings!

You’ll have good cell reception throughout most of the lodge, allowing you to share those incredible sunset photos instantly! All Belizean networks work well here. Combined with our reliable WiFi, you can stay as connected as you want. However, feel free to use our lodge as an excuse for a digital detox! You will still have the connectivity when needed.
